Ingredients
- task_altLarge eggs (V35: 4 | V55: 8)
- task_altSugar (V35: 200 g. | V55: 400 g.)
- task_altWhole milk (V35: 500 ml. | V55: 1 l.)
- task_altLiquid caramel (to taste)
step by step recipe
- Cover the surface of the mold with liquid caramel to taste. If we have several small molds, repeat the process in each one. In a bowl, mix the sugar and eggs very well. Then add the milk and mix everything very well again.
- Preheat the air fryer for 5 minutes using the Preheat setting.
- Pour the mixture into the mold over the liquid caramel, leaving at least 1 cm unfilled (the egg flan mixture rises during cooking).
- Place the mold or molds in the air fryer without oil on Manual menu, 165°, 15 minutes.
- When finished, unmold the flan by passing a thin knife around the entire wall of the mold. Cool in the refrigerator once it has reached room temperature.
Ingredients
- Before serving, repeat the process with the knife if you cannot unmold the egg flan when turning it over onto the plate.
- While the air fryer is preheating, optionally, we can pass the flan mixture through a fine sieve. We can strain the mixture 1-3 times to achieve the best texture.
- The mold we use should be oven-safe silicone or a clay container that fits in the basket.
- The liquid caramel can be store-bought or prepared beforehand with sugar and water in a pan. We can also use other syrups according to taste.
- We can add a teaspoon of vanilla essence to the mixture to give our flan a special touch.
