Ingredients
- task_alt300 g. of wheat flour
- task_alt80 g. of raw and peeled almonds
- task_alt100 g. of lard
- task_alt80 g. sugar
- task_altZest of 1 lemon
- task_altPowdered sugar (for decoration)
step by step recipe
- Place the blades in the jug.
- We add the almonds. We close and set speed 12 for 30 seconds.
- We open and add the flour. We mix by setting speed 3 for 5 seconds.
- We remove the mixture and spread it in the air fryer basket on a piece of baking paper (which should go up the sides a bit). Close and set to 160°C for 25 minutes. We open the basket twice and stir to ensure even toasting. We remove and let it cool.
- While we toast the flours, we pulverize the sugar in the Robotmix at speed 8 for 10 seconds. Remove and reserve.
- We put the lard in the jar. We close and set speed 3 for 15 seconds.
- We open and add the flours and lemon zest. We close and set speed 4 for 20 seconds.
- We form a ball of dough and wrap it in plastic wrap. We store it in the freezer for 15 minutes.
- We flour the work surface and roll out the dough to a thickness of 1.5 cm with the help of a rolling pin.
- We cut the shortbreads with a circular mold.
- We put half of the shortbreads in the air fryer basket and set it to 180 °C for 12 minutes. We cook them in two batches.
- We let them cool before removing from the basket and decorate with a little powdered sugar. Enjoy!
Ingredients
- Instead of using almonds and grinding them in the Robotmix, we can buy already ground almonds.
- While the first batch of shortbreads is cooking, we keep the rest in the refrigerator so they maintain their shape better during baking.
