step by step recipe
- First, we put the hake fillets on a plate and defrost them in the refrigerator. Once thawed, we season them with salt and pepper to taste.
- Next, we beat the egg in a deep plate and dip each hake fillet on both sides. We repeat this step in another plate with breadcrumbs or flour for coating on both sides.
- The next step is to program the air fryer to “Preheat” for 5 minutes.
- Finally, we put the hake fillets in the air fryer and set it to “Manual” menu for 15 minutes at 185°C. If we want to ensure they cook well, our recommendation is to shake the fillets every 5-6 minutes.
Ingredients
- To brown the fillets even more, we can increase the temperature to 205°C with the “Steak” menu for the last 3 minutes. This way we'll achieve that extra crispy texture. The best part? By choosing an air fryer for cooking, you can reduce oil intake to almost zero. Enjoy eating healthy!
