step by step recipe
- Place the mixing attachment in the jug.
- Mix the melted butter, eggs, kefir, sugar, and honey in the jug, programming at speed 2 for 20 seconds.

- Add the dry ingredients to the jug with the wet ingredients and mix by programming at speed 2 for 1 minute.
- Preheat the air fryer to 160°C for 5 minutes.
- Prepare a 22 cm container (this is for the 5.5L air fryer; for the 3.5L air fryer, you'll need to use two 16 cm containers to fit in the basket) by coating it with a very thin layer of butter and dusting with flour to prevent the bread from sticking.
- Pour the batter into the container and place the container in the air fryer basket. Cook at 160°C for 20-22 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Serve drizzled with honey and piping hot!

- This bread is famous for its crumbly texture. If you prefer it less crumbly, use a bit more flour and less cornmeal, as this will make it more unified.
