Ingredients
- task_alt300 g. of wheat flour
- task_alt140 g. of butter at room temperature
- task_alt60 g. of brown sugar
- task_alt70 g. honey
- task_alt1 egg
- task_alt1 tbsp. of ground ginger
- task_alt1 tsp. of ground cinnamon
- task_alt1 tsp. of nutmeg or ground cloves
step by step recipe
- In a bowl, mix the butter and sugar.
- Then, add the egg and honey. Mix until blended.
- Next, incorporate the dry ingredients. Mix with your hands until combined, form a ball and wrap it in plastic wrap.
- Refrigerate the dough in the fridge for 1 hour or in the freezer for 20 minutes.
- Preheat the air fryer with the automatic menu.
- After the resting time, place the dough between two sheets of parchment paper and roll it out until thin using a rolling pin.
- Cut them into your preferred shape. We can use a cookie cutter or a glass if we don't have one. Place them in the air fryer basket without touching each other.
- Manually set the temperature to 180 degrees and the time to 7 minutes. Check the last 2 minutes to see if they are browned because depending on their thickness, they will be done sooner or later. Cook them in several batches.
- Let them cool on a wire rack and enjoy!
Ingredients
- As the dough contains butter, it's very important to refrigerate the dough between each baking batch. This will make the dough easier to handle when shaping and help the cookies maintain their shape better during baking.
