Ingredients
- task_alt200 g. of gluten-free oats
- task_alt120 g. of peeled walnuts
- task_alt80 g. of peeled pumpkin and sunflower seeds
- task_alt50 g. of caramelized sesame seeds
- task_alt1 tbsp. (soup spoon) of honey
- task_alt115 g. of brown sugar
- task_alt75 g. of coconut oil
- task_alt1 tbsp. (dessert size) of ground cinnamon
step by step recipe
- Preheat the air fryer to 180°C for 10 min.
- Put the honey, sugar, and coconut oil in the jar, heat for 5 minutes at 80°C, speed 2.
- Then add the rest of the ingredients, that is, the oats, walnuts, seeds, and sesame seeds. Sprinkle the cinnamon and mix for 30 seconds, speed 2, reverse rotation.
- If necessary, finish mixing with the spatula until the ingredients are completely coated.
- Place the granola on the air fryer basket lined with baking paper and cook at 180°C for 10 minutes.
- After this time, mix well, making sure the ingredients from the edges move to the center so they don't burn. Bake for another 5 minutes at the same temperature.
- When the time is up, check that our granola is golden and crispy. Remove the basket from the air fryer and let the contents cool.
- If we see that it's not quite golden yet, we can extend the time, but always stirring the ingredients well so the edges don't burn.
- When the granola has cooled completely, store it in airtight glass jars and keep it in the pantry.
Ingredients
- You can make any combinations you want with your favorite ingredients. You can use nuts, seeds, coconut, chocolate, and fruits.
- The base is usually a cereal. To this base, we add various ingredients. (seeds, sesame or flaxseed, walnuts or hazelnuts, dried fruit like raisins or cranberries).
- Don't hesitate to add your personal touch with spices, like cinnamon or ginger. And, of course, chocolate chips or cacao nibs to give it a sweet touch.
- It keeps very well for weeks and it's very practical to have it in airtight jars that are easy to open and close.
- You can have your homemade granola for breakfast and also as a snack to enrich a yogurt or apple compote.
