Products with which it can be cooked

Ingredients

  • task_alt50 g. of white chocolate for melting (for decoration)
  • task_alt50 g. of dark chocolate for melting (for decoration)
  • task_alt1 rectangular or circular puff pastry sheet
  • task_alt1 jar of nocilla chocoleche without added sugars
  • task_alt1 egg (to paint the dough)

step by step recipe

  1. Unroll the puff pastry and cut triangles with the help of a knife. If the puff pastry is rectangular, make a cut in half and make 8 cuts in each half for a total of 16 triangles. If the puff pastry is circular, make 16 cuts so that they are as similar and symmetrical as possible.
  2. Preheat the air fryer with the automatic menu.
  3. On the longest side of the triangles, make a 2-3 cm cut to get the typical horns. Place a teaspoon of nocilla a little above the cut, roll up to the tip and give it the typical horn shape. Fill half of the triangles with white nocilla and the other half with dark nocilla.
  4. Place half of the croissants in the basket lined with parchment paper and brush them with beaten egg. It's important to place them a bit apart from each other, as they grow. Reserve the rest of the croissants in the refrigerator to bake them later.
  5. Set the program to 180 degrees, 16 minutes. After 8 minutes, remove them from the basket and place the remaining croissants. Brush them with beaten egg and close the basket to finish the program.
  6. While they finish baking, melt the white and dark chocolate in the microwave in 30-second intervals.
  7. Decorate the white nocilla croissants with white chocolate and the dark nocilla ones with dark chocolate. Do this using a fork, forming rows of chocolate on the surface. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • To make larger croissants, cut larger triangles. Instead of making 16 triangles, we can make 8.
  • If the dough is difficult to handle, refrigerate it for a few minutes and it will return to its original state.
