  • task_altSalt and pepper to taste

step by step recipe

  1. In a separate bowl mix the ingredients for the meatballs and form meatballs about the size of golf balls. Dredge the meatballs in flour to coat them in batter. Set the robot to the Fried menu for 30 minutes and add the olive oil to the bowl and let it heat up. Add the meatballs in a single layer in the pan and brown on all sides. This will take approximately 10-15 minutes for each batch. We will need to make 2 batches. Once browned, remove to a separate dish and keep covered.
  2. Chop the peppers, onion and garlic and set the food processor to the Fried menu for 25 minutes. Add the peppers and onion to the pan with the oil left over from the meatballs and sauté for about 5 minutes. Then add the garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Remove a small part of the vegetables and set aside. Add the crushed tomato and sauté for 5 minutes. Add the white wine to deglaze the pan and let it cook for 3-5 minutes. Add the veal cube and let it mix for 1 minute.
  3. Remove the sauce and blend to the desired consistency.
  4. Add the sauce with the reserved vegetables and the meatballs back to the bowl of the food processor. Close the lid and set the robot to the Stew menu for 10 minutes so that it heats up well and the meatballs finish cooking.
  5. Serve piping hot!

Ingredients

  • Do not whisk the sauce inside the pan as this may damage the non-stick coating.
