step by step recipe
- First, cut the onion into julienne strips.
- Add the oil to the pan and set FRIED Menu, cooking temperature 2, 15 minutes. Once hot, add the onion and cook for 5 minutes. Stir from time to time with the spatula.
- While the onion is cooking, wash and slice the mushrooms and chop the eggplant into small cubes.
- When there are 10 minutes left, add the vegetables from the previous step and season. Stir from time to time until the end of the program.
- On a piece of baking paper, spread a sheet of filo dough and brush it with a little melted butter. We continue this process until we have 5 sheets of overlapping dough.
- Place half of the filling and grated cheese on the left, leaving space on the left, top and bottom. Fold the left side over the filling and fold the top and bottom edges inward, over the filling. Continue rolling the whole dough to the right side.
- Follow the same procedure to form another strudel.
- Place the two strudels in the basket of the air fryer. We paint them with a little butter and add some sesame seeds on top.
- Close and manually program 180ºC, 6 minutes or until golden brown. Enjoy!
