step by step recipe
- Beat the eggs with the oil, sugar, and vanilla essence using a whisk until it whitens and foams.
- Add the dry ingredients to the previous mixture: flour, baking powder, and spices. Mix with a spatula until all ingredients are well incorporated.
- Finally, incorporate the grated carrot and chopped nuts. We mix.
- Preheat the air fryer with the automatic menu.
- Grease the mold and flour it. Another option is to line it with baking paper.
- Add the batter to the mold.
- Place the mold in the air fryer basket and set it to 160 degrees for 40 minutes. We prick with a toothpick to check that it is not raw. If necessary, program a few more minutes.
- Remove the mold from the basket and let it cool for 10 minutes.
- Unmold and let cool on a wire rack.
- Mix all the frosting ingredients until combined. Add it on top and decorate with some chopped nuts. Enjoy!
Ingredients
- If we see that the surface of the cake is browning too much, cover it with a piece of aluminum foil.
- Depending on the mold we use, the cooking time will be different. It is important that after 30 minutes we start to check if it is done with the help of a toothpick.
